car won't start
I have an 86 IROC, the car will crank but won't start. I found that my fuel injectors are not pulsing like they should. I checked my fuses and they are ok, my spark is good so my ignition is working. I changed out my ignition module but that didn't change anything. I am pretty sure that I don't have VATS on my car. I don't have a resistor in my key, my key is some run of the mill crap. Tonight I am going to try and swap my ecm, not sure what else to do. Also I am getting fuel pressure in my rails, just my fuel injectors won't work. They are brand new accel injectors. P lease help if you can!!!

I have an 86 IROC also. You might wanna check to make sure your getting fuel pressure. Mine did that 2 weeks after i bought it turns out the fuel pump took a crap on me. And no 86s did not have VATS, I think VATS came out after 88 or 89, not sure though. Hope you get it runnin again.

I just checked my ECM and the resistance from A6 (power in) to the injector banks was 1. I think this means that there is no connection between these two prongs. I dont know what else to do. Next I'm going to try to burn a new prom without any vats on it. Any help would be nice!!!
