Do all remote coil TPI cars need a tach adapter for MSD boxes?
Just hooked up my MSD 6A and found my tach to go crazy over 3k. I did a search and found that I am going to need a tach adapter to get it to function correctly. Does every TPI car similar to mine require one? I have never read anything about one before. I bought the box off a guy running it in his 89 IROC and he didn't mention using one. Thanks

I have a 6al in my 87 with a remote coil and the tach seems to work fine. At first it did act wierd, but all i did was unplug the wires at the distributor and plugged them back in and it was fine.
