Power Antenna Help

Okk my power antenna was disconnected when i bought the car, the 3 wires green gray and white were cut on passenger side... so i hooked them back up and now the motor just constantly spins...i found the wire that retracts the antenna has been broken in 2 inside but thats not the major problem....

How do i get the motor to stop pulling in, as soon as i hook the wires up, it automatically retracts and just keeps spinning around and around retracting?? What causes it to know that the antenna has been retacted all the way?
And also which wire hooks up to my cd player if one does, and what wire do i connect it to my cd player? thx

A pink wire hooks to the antenna wire.

The spinning could be caused by the antenna mast bein stripped. If the teeth on the mast are gone, then the motor will keep spinning trying to pull it down. See if the mast moves freely up and down.
There is some sort of limit switch inside the motor that senses when the mast is down. If teeth are missing, then the motor cant pull the mast all the way down so the motor will continue running.
