foglight problem

My foglights dont work now. I am using Rally Racing Series fog lights with 35 watt H3 bulbs. I have used these before I got into the car accident. They worked fine then. Now, I put new ones and they dont work. When I first replaced them they didnt work cuase the relay was bad. I swapped it with one off a pulldown motor(they are the same). It worked fine for the night. Tonight I go to put them on and nothing. The relay clicks but no lights. No power is apparant at the purple wire and the power indicator light(the one NOT on the button) wont illuminate.

The wiring is somewhat custom:
- The fusible links were bad so I ran a wire directly from the positive cable to the relay, I put a 20 amp fuse inbetween.

-the green wire is cut and grounded so I can run my fogs and brights at the same time

-the foglights use the factory grounds, but, both are powered by the passenger side purple(foglight power) wire. The kit came with a splitter so I spliced that in and ran both power wires from the lights right to the passenger side wire.

What is the problem here?
Is 35watt H3 bulbs too big?
Is running both lights off the one wire too much?
Could the green wire bein grounded be a problem?
Could one bad ground cause both not to work?

I think the relay is fried. But i dont know what is causing it.
I dont know why it dont work cause it worked before.

Thanks,

Matt

Bad switch maybe? Not sure cuase I can feel and hear the relay click when the switch is pressed.

If the relay can be felt and heard to click does that mean it is good? Or could it still do that and be bad?

Thanks,
Matt
