i just installed a B&M megashifter in the iroc... used the reverse light switches provided, did not use the relay. but when i go in reverse... the lights come on as usual... but when i go back into drive they stay on... and i have to upshift/downshift anywhere from 2 times to 10 times till the lights finally go off... any ideas on what might be the problem?

 

Adjust the reverse switch. You may also need to adjust the other(neutral safety) switch--you might be able to start in any gear. To adjust, tweak the metal that comes out of the switch so the switch only turns on when the 'bump' on the shifter touches it. Once I adjusted mine(duing the install) it work perfectly, and has ever since.
