need help with tach

motor swap tpi to carb and the tach isnt working and i would like to keep that then getting an aftermarket tach... any help? thanks

Engine: 4.3L V6

Transmission: 4L60E

in the original harness, there was a plug going to the coil with a pink(or red) wire and a white wire, the red wire is the feed for the ignition, the white wire is the tachn it connects the the tach or negative coil terminal
