Help with indiglow gauges!!!
Hi, I wanted to know if any of you guys have installed the gauges before? And if so did you remove your other gauges or just leave them there? Were the gauges still receiving power when you installed your indiglows? What I'm saying is if your stock gauges still function and light up with the indiglows over them? Also, it says on the intructions that in order to receive power to the gauges, to wire it up to the daytime running lights (drl on the fuse box) But since I don't have those, how should I go about wiring them. Should I hook them up to the headlights? And how would I go about wiring something into the fusebox. Someone was telling me that I need to connect the power wire from the gauges to the power wire in the headlights? Please help me out, I want to install them! ERic

Tucson, AZ all right! I would suggest taking a good look at a wiring diagram of your car and find out what wire is your headlight wire. Yes, hook them up to your headlights unless you want it illuminated with the headlights off. The one thing I don't understand is if you just want to light the dash and your running lights, but not the headlights, you typically push in half of the headlight switch to do so. With that wiring route I don't see that happening. Is there a way of maybe just taking the lighting power off the old gauges and hooking it to the indiglows? Those are just an overlay right, not a complete gauge. Good luck, try to stay cool in this damn Tucson heat.

Hey man thanks for your reply! I used the power from the hvac light so they only come on with the headlights. Yeah this Tucson heat sucks! And it was humid as hell! Luckily though, 88aziroc helped me out and he has a nice shady carport! You should check out the Southwestern boards because sometimes we have get togethers with the phoenix guys.
to you for replying!

I hooked mine up to the hot side of my fog lamp switch.
I wish my son didn't smash my digital camera so I could show you.
