Okay, this is the deal. I got my 91 Firebird and a week later everything electrical went to crap. I finally got the windows moving again but now my hatch wiring is messed up or maybe it's the motor. Does anyone have a diagram or maybe some instructions to let me try and figure this out on my own. My daddy's getting tired of me going over and i don't think he really knows much about wiring, he got the hatch to lock but the motor won't take it all the way down. Don't get me wrong. I love my daddy but as usual when he fixes something there always seems to be wires left hanging or screws left over. Please someone help. I'm going nuts. I really love my car and it does happen to be the only one i've ever really cared about.

Well, if the motor will pull the hatch down, but not all the way, then the electrical part is working. Either the motor is messed up (housing cracked) or the guides for the slide mechinism are shot and bind up when put under a load.
