I want to get red underbody lights. Where is a good place to put the ON/OFF switch?

Unlike the imports, our cars were made with some *****. We dont put stickers and aftermarket wheels on our cars thinking it will make them go faster. So I think that F-Bodies have the cajunes to sport some neons.

there's nothing wrong with putting the lights on your car. especially with your year you have the lower gfx's so it's very easy to hide and make look nice.

i originally had my switches on the pannel underneath the steering wheel down by my feet. i recommend the ash tray if you don't use it for other things although be sure to get a metal one or make a plate as the stock plastic tray will shatter when trying to drill for the switches.

do you have a kit yet? i recommend street glow as they are the brightest and carry the best warranty. there is a location near great lakes crossing mall that carries them for very reasonable prices and if you ever have a problem they are very good with warranty work.

get the street glow gold series as it's the easiest to install and will be the brightest. they are a little more then your cheap pepboys lights but they are well worth it. I had three street glow kits on my car at one time and loved them. i'm currently down to 2 kits on the underneath. i think i have a little over 50' inside and out. hook them up and enjoy, just be smart and don't use them when you drive, especially red.

what color is your car? red is a very nice color but you might consider getting white. the white is the brightest and it isn't seen everywhere. i use my white more then any of the other colors.

good luck

Way to have the restraint to wait until dawn. But hey, its your car, go nuts. If your going to put a switch in down by the vent, get a switch that lights up when its on, so you can see it to turn it off fast at night.

say what you will but all of you would look when their on and when they are done tastefully you don't have to love them to like them.

here are some really poor pictures but they will give you the general idea of what a few different colors look like.

here is red...

i think red as an undertone definately looks good, especially if it's on a red car but the white is the brightest possible and really stands out above all other colors. if you don't want it really bright and just want a color red is the way to go. now if i can just find a way to fit a 4th color in there.

the red shines out roughly 2' where as the white completely fills the underside and shines out almost 3'.
