switch question?
switch question?
i have a remote setup on my alarm that allows me to activate various accessories with different commands of the buttons.
i want to hook up a switch that will allow me to bipass the alarm sirens when i am playing so that it doesn't beep constantly when i'm using the accessories but when i want to use the alarm portion i can make sure the sirens are on.
would something like this be easy to do without causing problems?

What about putting a switch in series with the ground wire for the siren? Or are we looking for something high-tech? Like hitting a button on the remote to turn the siren off? Just guessing.
lol no it doesn't have to be anything spectacular. just something as simple as a cheap, yet small toggle switch under the dash. it would be nice to use the accessories without hearing the sirens go off everytime you hit a button.
i have 4 basic commands right now and to use each one the siren beeps for which ever command. so for example if i use button 1 it beeps once and then i use 4 it beeps 4 times when you turn them on and off which gets rather annoying.
