power loss while driving

i have an 89 firebird with a 2.8L V6, and everything seems fine except when im driving slow sometimes, the car completely dies, and it is obviously electrical because the battery like dies and i have no power at all and my clock gets reset and everything, and no warning lights come on when i turn the key. after a few minutes it comes back but what could this problem be? a lose connection somewhere? i dont know

Make sure the battery cables are tight.
Also check the big red wire connection on the starter
