Need some help with a couple light ideas

Hey all...I have neon lights under my car and I was wondering if there was any way to have them kick on w/ the dome light when I open my doors/trunk. That would also make them kick on when I turned the dome light on with the light switch inside the car, right? I have seen it done with the smaller 12" tubes inside the car, but never with the light kits under the car. Any help would be appriciated.

And second, I was wondering if anyone has seen a set of tail lights that where european looking for 3rd gen camaros. I havent seen them, I was wondering what they looked like on our cars and if it is possible to make them myself. Thanx for any help!

Hey buddy...First off, I wanna warn you about something. I posted a topic awhile back about the "euro style" altezza tail lights for third gens. I got SO MUCH CRAP about it, it isn't even funny. I simply asked if anyone made them and everyone posted replies about how I shouldn't own a Camaro and I should go out and buy a *****. You should really watch what you say cuz there are some people in here who are pretty damn brutal. But while we're on the topic of clear tail lights, I've done many searches and I couldn't find any company that makes 'em. The only modification I know of are the GTS blackouts. Anything else, you'll have to do on your own whether it be painting the plastic lenses or modding them some other way. Good luck in whatever you decide to do man. Later.

If you figure out the wire that controls the power to your dome light, and tap your neons power to that then it should work. I'll try it tomorrow and let you know. And to the people that say stuff about what you want to do to your car tell them to f off. Ask flyinlow about catching crap about his wing.

The door pins control ground to the dome lights (so does the light switch). You can use a relay that switches with ground (tied into you door pin wiring). This would be the way I'd do it which may or may not be the best but, take it for what you will....

Well first off nobody makes any Euro style tails for our cars as of yet, some have made thier own but no companies are doing it. Tehy do however make the clear corner lights that go in the fenders that would probably look good on your car. Now for the Neons Id say go with deadbirds idea and not try tapping into the power wire for the dome because that will pull too many amps through that circuit and possably blow a fuse or cause another major short in the cars wiring. Now for a little off topic here dont take to heart what others say about your car if this turns into a flame war because its your car so you can do what you want to it and what you think looks good along with others there may be a larger group that dont like it so like I said dont take it to heart.

rs_boy: I hear ya, i've seen how peeps treat flyinlow and iroc2nv. I figured that I would get more flames than help, but I figured it wouldnt hurt to ask. If I find anything I will let you know though, and if you find anything, please let me know.

deadbird: Thanx for the diagram, Ima try it asap. Both yours and camar0luvr ideas sound like they will work. I think i will take it to the shop where I bought them tomorrow and see what they think would work...I'll let ya'll know how it goes.
