Manuals say purple D7 for 02 guage hookup?

I'm trying to hook up my autometer air/fuel guage and cannot find the wire Hayes is saying is there on D7. First I have (3) connectors on the ecm, (2) 32 pins "C&D" and (1) A&B. What gives? Looking at the ecm as it would be mounted am I supposed to look at the connector above the A&B or below it? And then is it D7 purple or can it be another location/color?

if it just reads off of the o2 sensor just run a wire from the lead coming off of the o2 sensor, that way you will not have to splice into your ecm harness. makes it easier to remove if it starts to cause a problem.

O2 sensor connection

GE14 for the O2 sensor purple wire

GE15 for the O2 ground Tan wire

Hope this helps.

I hooked up the guage like you all have suggested as well as how autometer states in their instructions. Black to ground, red to a switched 12v source and purple right after the o2 sensor connection near the engine mount. The thing F'd up my car!!! I had it connected and my car was actually responding like sh*t. I disconnected the purple lead and all was good. Anyone have ideas or experiences?
