Fuses

The accesorie fuse keeps blowing (dome light, sterreo, cig lighter, etc.) can't figure out why. 88 Iroc 305 TPI

more often than not,a bad lighter element will do that(not the socket).does the car have an aftermarket radio? if so is the orange wire insulated properly? the power feed from the fuse to the accessories is orange on this particular circuit .check the lighter element and radio first,better chance of finding problem.

I have an aftermarket sterreo and I pulled it first and then re-taped the connections. As for the cigarette lighter, are you talking about the part that is in the car or the half you hold in your hand. (sorry kinda retarded)

no prob,that orange wire is where you'll find your prob,and yes it is the part you hold in your hand,if the part that turns red looks crooked or isn't flat(kinda cone shaped),chuck that thing in the trash!
