I just installed the SMC progressive pump kit. I have the power to the ign power on the fuse box. I am also running two gauges to this source.

When the pump comes on the fuse blows.

SMC says this source should be OK? But he still says that the pump may draw 15 amps.

Anyone else experience this problem?

Any suggestions for a fix?

I ran the pump 6 times today and the fuse did not blow???

Wondering if the initial test just had some type of spike and blew the fuse????

I am going to run the pump a few more times over the next couple of days.

If it does not blow again, do you think it was a fluke??
