Wiring connectors?????
Does anyone know if they sell the male end of the cluster connectors for our cars? I know the female end is on the car now and the cluster is the male end.
What I am trying to do is this, I am doing the 4th gen dash swap.
I would rather not have to cut apart the wiring in my car. I would like to find a male end connector the would plug into the female end thats on the cars wiring harness now. Then take the new male end, solder the wires up to the 4thgen female connector that I have. so that I will have some sort of adapter to hook up the new 4th gen guages without having to cut the harness on my car. And so that if I ever want to switch back to my 3rdgen dash all Ill have to do is unplug thhis adapter thing and simply plug back inthe old cluster.
So anyone if they make a connector like I need or where I would go to look? Hope this makes sense.

Not that I know of. You could always strip about 1/4" of insulation off the wires about 4" back from the plug, and solder the new harness to that. That way you will have both harnesses perminantly attached to the car. just make sure you tape up the plug you aren't using really good so you don't short anything out. I'd also recommend doing only one wire at a time, or disconnecting your battery after you do your testing so that you don't short as you are doing it.
