Back-up lights not working

Where would you look first for trouble with
back-up lights.
Suddenly quit.
Thanks!

if it is a automatic i would check the shifter, it is possible that the switch came loose, and isnt aligned right, for manual im not sure on that one, check bulbs in the rear, see if they are burnt out, and i think there is a fuse in the fuse panel for em

under console

if automatic there will be a half moon shaped switch mounted to the floor about 5 inches long a plastic tang rides along the shifter and should move with the shifter. put your car in drive while holding the brake hard does it start? if it does it is a malfunctioning switch. if it does not you have to adjust your switch. if this is the case email me and i will tell u how to go about this. Goodluck
