Wiper Motor?!
Hey guys. Ive encountered a problem with my winshield wiper motor. Heres the description: the motor does not activate when i turn the wipers on. BUT, when i push them forward to wash my window, the wipers work all the time. Now, i took off the wire connector harness and taht looks fine. Could there be a problem having to do with the park switch? or is this just simply a tired, old motor? thanx guys for your help!

if they work when you give it a push then the motor is probably bad. check the voltage drop across the motor, and if your getting the full 12-13volt at the motor.
Heh, he didn't mean he was physically pushng the wipers. He meant when he pushed the thumb tab forward to the "wash" position they work.
Sounds like it may be the switches in the turnsignal stalk, might have to replace it. It is just supposed to "plug in" on the end of the lever (I thinks it is anyway)
