Axle/Gears: ones with teeth
what is this Hacked?

is this normal from gm or is something funny going on here. notice the brown wire cut. and the brown wire connected to the black/white stripe, blue wire grounded to metal. looks kinda hacked up what is it doing? bough tthe car with quite a few demons in it. Thanks

Transmission: 700R4
If that is a solid brown wire going into pin "A10" at the ECM, then it is the speed input wire. If it goes into pin "A2" it is for the air select valve controls If the black/white wire goes into pin "A11", "D1", or "D10" of the ECM, this is a ground wire.

I can tell you from my own wiring harness (85 TPI) that it isn't supposed to be like that. Someone has tampered with the wiring.

Check your wiring against this http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~davis/z28...ody-wiring.pdf and see if you can figure what goes where
