Hi beam indicator

The high-beam indicator went out on the speedometer in my '87 Z-28. I'm looking to avoid pulling the whole gauge cluster out, can i reach this bulb if I pull the dash pad off? Or if I get the cluster covers off and get all the way to the gauges, what holds the speedometer in besides the cable, so I can maybe pull it out and change the bulb? Thanks

If you go that far, your 2 10 mm stamped nuts away from just removing the whole cluster which, is really your best bet to changing the bulb.
Removing the dashpad will not gain you access as far as I remember but, it's been awhile for taking a dashpad off too. It's nearly impossible as it is to release the speedo cable, even less odds of getting to the high beam bulb.
