Whenever I shut my car off, the battery makes a bubbling noise. Now this obviously sounds like the acid bubbling, and possibly leaking but I found no leaks. Any suggestions?

 

are you sure its the battery? I've heard that sound and it was the coolant recovery tank.

If it is the battery, how old is it? Is it a maintenence free type with no caps? If it has caps check the water level, if low fill it up with distilled water. If the battery is over 5 years old you probably need a new one

 

Its definilty the battery and the acid is low. It wont hold a charge either. its pretty old and nasty, so ill get a new one.
