Head Lights
Does anyone know where i could buy superwhite headlights or the headlights that give off that blue glow iam like obseessed with them and like to have them on my camaro. I look every where for the and can not find them. If anyone has any info that would be very helpful..
With the Sealed Beam, you really don't have very many choices. The Silverstars are 'whiter' then stock, but don't have the blue hue that you want. I don't think they are any brighter either.
Your best bet, is to get the H4 Conversion. Then you'll have many more choices of bulb types.
I got mine at eurolamps.com
The only thing is, their bulbs are rated 80/100 Watts, so they are techinically illegal. I haven't had any problems with them, and nobody has ever hi-beamed me.
If you buy the lights from them, be sure to ask for the conversion harness!! They didn't tell me about it, you'll need it because the H4 pinouts on the bulb are in different locations.
I actually decided to instead upgrade my wiring because of the higher current demands on the stock wiring. Just to be safe.
They do light up the road better, and when looking at the car you can see the blue hue from them. Looks pretty good. I think my bulbs are rated at a color temperature of 4800k

with H4 you need to make your own wiring harness and wire in a relay....or buy one specailly for our cars like cdoyle said.
Also if you didnt know dont be fooled a superwhite bulb will lite up white only but when you buy them they look blue.
A blue bulb will look blue (like the supper white one) but it will be maked blue colored or neon blue and they light up white with a blue hue to it.
I run blue h4s in my car for lowbeams. I bought the Bosch h4 conversion kit it is really nice.
