Gagues not working at all

My car got broken into over the summer and they messed up the steering column real bad, then yanked the radio out. It was still driveable but the gagues didnt work. My dad put a new column in last week off a 6 cyl. 92 RS, but he said they still wont work. Im going home tues so I'll be able to look at it and get more info, but is there anything blatently obvious that could be killin them? Fuse?

Thanks!

id say it could be a fuse, one quick thing i thought id point out though, a cluster from a v6 car in a v8 car will have a very inaccurate tach

oops, my bad. I dont know if vats would have anything to do with it but aside from that the wire that powers the gauges (pink w/ black stripe) might be cut. Check fuses first though.

No, VATS would have nothing to do with the guages malfunctioning. The connectors in the back of the instrument panel may have been pulled loose or had a wire broken.
