nah my bulbs are not stock, my step-dad replaced them with some new type of bulb, i think hallogen bulbs a while back and i just noticed a bout a week ago that they never come on.
And how do i check to see if the relay is good or bad. When should i hear the clicking noise thats supposed to come from it?
And which fuse would this be? i mean i never hear a clicking sound when i push the button for the fog lights, so either no power or something else.

hmm.. fuse? Not sure..
I think you'd have other things that wouldn't work, if it were a fuse.. unless foglights have their own fuse.. not sure why that would be, though. very possible, though
fog lights should come on when the PARKING lights are on, or with LOW-BEAM headlights (they turn off when high-beams are on)
make sure of the above, and reply back to us.

yeah i know that the fog lights go off when the high beams are on. I had the low beams on and pressed the fog light button. Nothing happened. I pressed the off switch(its right next to the on switch) and popped the hood to listen if the relay makes any noises. Well, i pressed the on switch and no noise came from the relay. So either no power is getting to the relay or the relay is bad itself. How do i test to see if the relay is getting power? I have a volt meter just dont know which wire is which and stuff.
thanks
Shane

figure out what relay it is, and take off your like.. MAF / maf burnoff/ fuel pump relay, and switch it (TEMPORARILY)
all the relays are the same for those, i'm pretty sure (not 100% certain).
try it again.. if it works, then your relay is broken.. if not, then check all the fuses, i suppose.. if it's not that, then there's a wiring issue somehow.. and it would be mainly a follow the wire type job
as far what the actual relay connections are, i have no idea.. i've never been able to find details on that
as far as the relay making noise... it could be quiet enough so you wouldn't notice it.. you can definitely feel it, though. make sure you have the right relay, because if you're diagnosing the problem, testing the wrong relay, it throws you all around

It's pretty easy to test a relay, as long as you have a volt meter or something of the sort. First you want to connect the relay to power and a ground. You can do this using your car's battery. Connect power at the brown wire terminal, and then ground at the light green, or vice versa. Then check for continuity across the red/brown wire terminals. From the looks of the wiring diagram, the relay has TWO brown wires going to it.
Also check this: make sure the red wire, from the fusible links has power at all times, even with the car off. The brown wire, the one coming from the headlight switch, should have power only when either the parking lights, or headlights are turned on. If these check out ok, then see if the brown wire at the foglight switch has power when the headlights are on.

alright later today after i get home from work i'll go outside with my volt meter and switch out those other relays first then try the volt meter thing. Even though here in florida we have a freeze warning tonight. Supposed to get to 34 F tonight. Anyways, yeah i get off at 9 PM, i'm on my break right now so i'll try this then. Talk to you about it later then.
