my windshield wipers on my 85 TA only move up and down about 1-2 inches, the motor is rotating, but the arms just dont move.

any suggestions?

i did a search, and similar questions have been asked, and never answered.

Try turning them on and grabing the arm when it comes up, keep tension on it and see if it will follow thru with a full pass. I had similiar problems on my 82. I had to eventually replace the motor, to fix mine. But this may work, may be sticking. Tim

 

Check for bent arms coming off the motor.
