O2 bank monitor methods
Ok, I got an O2 sensor on either manifold, they are single wire sensors. Would any of you folks know how to use them to monitor oxygen content in real time??? I know it's a weird question, I just want to be able to monitor the info they are reading. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

There are two type of O2 Sensor Gauges .. the one style is sold by Autometer (which shows a 20 led bar graph from Lean to rich), the other I can't remember but I think Jegs or Summit sells them. it shows a digital number display of the sensor reading.

2 $2.99 LCD digital voltmeter, it an easy way to tap into any O2 sensor. Wire a lead into the car the next time you change them.
"Here is a general idea at what the O2 sensor voltage output looks like. As you can see, the slope around 400mv, which is 14.7:1, or perfect combustion, is very steep. This is why only computerized fuel injection systems can really hold anything close to 400mv. If you're wondering about how a sensor can read oxygen content in rich mixtures where there is no extra oxygen, the sensor begins to act as a temperature sensor above 400mv.
"
You just hook the positive to the wire and ground the ground.
A slick idea would be to take them apart and mount the LCD's neatly in the dash. hide the guts behind it. Its even tricker and most wont have a clue what they are doing.
