changing cc distributer to vaccume

How would I go about changing my cc distributer to a vaccume advance one, Since I think thats what needs to be done when I change my carb from qjet to another type, dont know what type. Any input whould be very appreciated.

Transmission: Richmond 6-speed, Rear:3.73
Check out the Carb Fourm. Why do you want to change out your CC carb? Your Rochester carb can flow enough air to support a 400 ci engine with a simple mod. It should give you great throttle responce, and with correctly functioning computer feedback, good gas mileage.
