I relocated it to the traditional spot on the passenger side, ran the wire through the inside of the car, where did you go through the firewall to get to the starter, and can i remove the old factory wires ?

Thanks Pals

I didn't go through the bodywork up front at all.

I ran my cable from the starter post, up and around the bellhousing to the driver's side, then ran the cable parallel with the fuel lines to the rear, then through the floor of the hatch into the cargo area. It's probably the hard way to do it, but keeps it away from the exhaust and out of the interior of the car.

You can remove the factory wire that used to go to the battery, but the post on the solenoid is a distribution point for power to the rest of the car. You'll probably find the fusible links for the headlights and such there, mine were.
