hooking up factory tach with painless
hooking up factory tach with painless
ok I"m almost done with my car... can you believe it's been over 2 years since I got it?! and no I never have driven it. ok I have the tachometer that the car came with and I want to use it. the tach came with a switch board connected to it in the rear and also had the temp guage with it. now I disconnected the switch board and pulled out the temp guage and there are 3 screws coming out of the tach and I was wondering If and how I could hook that up? if so, what wire should I connect to which screw (2 grey ones and 1 bronze colored screw)? I have a HEI distributer with 3 wires coming out of it's side (grey black and red). and also the 3 wires in the coil. (ground and the other 2 that are red and yellow). anything will help, thank you.
