Acc fuse problem
Acc fuse problem
My acc. fuse keeps blowing. The pin switch in the pass door jamb was broke so the courtesy lights stayed on. I unplugged them until I was able to replace the pin switch. When I did and pluged the lights back, nothing happened. The acc fuse was blown and when I replaced it that one blew immediately. If anyone has any help I would really appriciate it.

I suggest that you take a look at the courtesy lights, perhaps when you reconnected them one of the leads became grounded on the lamp holder or the reflector - that's the only way I can see you blowing a fuse.
Unless someone popped a penny into your cigarette lighter in the meantime... That'll do it too!

No. The courtesy light is fine. I think the problem is somewhere between the pin switches, but I dont know exactly how they work. Ithought it was when the door is open the circuit is closed, thus switching the lights on. I will have to study the schematic more. thanks though
