gauge cluster not working w/ headlights on

the gauge cluster works fine in the day but the moment i turn the headlights on, the dashlights do not work, all the gauges except the speedo stop working and both blinker lights are stuck on.

what is going on?

Sounds like a bad ground somewhere. Maybe you tore the circuit board without realizing it?
Or, maybe it's just not quite in place; you can try loosening the cluster and adjusting it to see if it hits a spot where everything works.

i dont think i tore the circuit board, otherwise it would never work.

but it only stops working when my headlights come on.

i already unscrewed the panel, moved it a bit and bolted it back up, no good. im gonna check where all the wires plug into it now and see if that helps, but please, more suggestions are needed, cuz if this isnt an easy fix, im going straight to the mechanic.

ok problem fixed, i got back under, pushed all connections in a lil bit, found a plug that wasnt plugged into anything (had the 4x2 socket layout, all but one had a connector) i could not find where it plugged in so it stayed unpluged, i also jiggled the fuse box.

it works now but im curious where that plug goes lol
