Hey guys,

I am want to switch to a coil per a cylinder (ls1) type setup. Which brand is the best?

I heard that MSD is good but to limit RPM it miss fires your cylinders and it sounds like your engine is back firering.

Mallory, I heard is ok and has a better way to limit the RPM.

I am planning on using a turbocharger so if there are built-in retards and such that would be a good thing.

What would you reconmend.

 

If you get an msd with the soft touch rev control it doesnt cause the misfires your talking about. Im not sure if the mallory box has that feature. As far as which brand to go with you should probably look in a summit and find out which brand carries otions your looking for. Then its just a matter of spending your money on the brand you like.
