Ok, Had a 89 305TPI
Using a 96 LT1 Engine and 96 Harness but 94 PCM..

Trying to figure out what wires out of the 89 harness splice to which wires on the 96.. Here are my questions..

MAF Relays from 89.. Are they or any of their wires needed? I assume no.

I have a Coil connector ('89) with a 20ga. White and 12ga. Pink. Is this White- Tach and Pink - Ignition?

'89 VSS, 2 wires goto VSS, Purp and Yel I believe, these go into firewall on Drv side with rest of harness.. Where do they go? I have the same color VSS wires in the 96 Harness going into or out of the PCM, where do I splice these up? Or do I?

Have couple other ques but will post in another thread to save confusion.. .. and thanks..

 

ok..
White wire on coil conencter is the tach. Still unsure on the VSS. The wires in the '89 go to a buffer box.. then out of the buffer box to the pcm and the speedo.. unsure where to tie in the 96 ppl and yel wires out of the pcm..
