Anybody using traction/launch control?

Hi, As it says.Could do with some real life stories on the improvement they make. There are at least 2 companies here in the UK that produce them.If there sales pitch is to be believed this systems will make a lot of difference.I just like the idea of flooring a high horse rear-wheel drive V8 and not ending up fizzing in a load of smoke.

Wheter it would help would depend on how well the system was designed. It can help to have traction control thou.

I had a teacher with a 4th gen camaro that had only a catback on it. He was having lots of trouble launching without the traction control so he tried using it and it knocked 3 to 4 tenths off his time.
