Car: 82 Camaro; in process of resto
Engine: 350 4bbl.
Transmission: 700R4 with B&M Lockup
Axle/Gears: Moser 28-spline axle; 3.23 gears
Help me be cool again--HVAC Control Interchange ?

82 Camaro, 305 4bbl...I need a new HVAC Control (above the radio). Mine is cracked. Is there a third gen that WILL NOT WORK?
Are there any alternatives as far as newer controls that will work?
Any tips on the re-install to avoid this one getting burnt like the old one? This appears to be common.
