dual fan setup.problem shooting!

Hey everyone, i recently swaped an 87 MAF TPI into my camaro and for some reason the fans (neither one) are kicking on, i have new relays on them and i can jump the wires and both fans will spin. so i know the fans are good and the relays are good but im not sure if the sensor i have is the right one or not. but i doubt that would cause it to not work, anyone have any ideas? it gets power to the relay but it doesnt kick on from the sensor or something?

If you do a search on this ? you will find the answer.
On the primary fan, the computer activate the fans at a predetermined value.
The second fan is driven by a sensor and the a/c or comp. The secondary fan you can test by grounding
the sensor wire, fan should come on. Don't know what the value of the sensor is, I think it is set at 220 or 230 before it activates or when the a/c reaches a certain pressure.
Hope this helps.

do you have a scan tool? how hot does it get? are you using
stock or aftermarket gauges? check fuses, fuse links and frayed wires in the circuit.

Well i get power to the fan relays and i know the fans work because iv crossed the connection to give it power and it works, and i know the ground wire is good because i checked that too, iv ran the car up to 230ish and still no fan. the only thing i can think of is the connector for the 2ndary fan isnt plugged into a sensor, its just dangling, but id still expect the primary fan to kick on....its weird, im not even sure where i could put the sensor for the 2ndary fan maybe in my HSR? not exactly sure because i have a 400 and there was no spot to put it.

There is a schematic for duel fans from Trickster do a search. The wire for the secondary fan that you say is dangling, if you ground this wire secondary fan should come on. place sensor at end of wire. You have to trace this one.
