alternator wire question
I have a brown wire that went from the Alternator up towards the coolant fan relay, then splits off. One goes to the relay and the other inside. I hooked the wire that went inside up to a switched 12 volt (to turn the Alternator on?). I can follow the wire on diagrams that goes into a coolant fan relay, but then where does it go, ignition switched?

The tan/white (brown) wire that comes off the alternator does split off. One wire goes to pin "D" of the coolant fan relay and the other wire goes to the "FP-FAN" fuse on the fuse panel which is hot in the run position.

If you are referring to the blower motor for the AC/Heater, it is on a seperate circuit and gets its power from the HTR-A/C fuse for the A/C control head and a fusible link at the starter solenoid provides power for the blower motor.
