Seat belt warning chime going off every 10-15 seconds

please help,this thing is driving me absolutely NUTS!It goes off over every little bump.I can fasten all 4 seat belts and it does nothing.I couldnt find a fuse that was labled for the chime.Please,FOR THE LOVE OF ***,tell me what wire to cut/disable.

It is the audio alarm unit located in the convenience center that you need to look for and not a fuse so to speak.

Trickster,not familiar with convenience center.Is that around where the light for the seatbelt is located and the trip/odo?I have a digital dash btw.Thanks

Maybe this will help, it is out of a 1986 firebird GM service manual since I don't have my 88 manual handy. The convenience center is located under the dash by the drivers right knee.
