Are you using the original '165 ECM and a retrofit distributor, or the LT1 PCM? Is the LT1, what year PCM? There were only about four different PCMs. Fun, eh?

I trust you got the LT1 MAF as well.

What are the problems? The entire PCM and harness needs to be installed into the ThirdGen, and most of the connectors are specific to the LT1. As long as the LT1 harness is intact, there shouldn't be a real problem. You may have a fun time integrating the ignition switch and VATS, but if you have a schematic for both the original L98 and the LT1, it should be easy enough, if not very time consuming.

Remember, solder everything instead of using crimp splices, or you'll have headaches later.

yes i have the maf too.

the problem i'm having is the integration of the ignition working with both the lt1 and the car's chassis wiring (lights, accessories, etc.). i also happen to be very bad at wiring and schematics, so i was looking to go somewhere else and save myself the trouble.
