You sure its the ECM fuse. If I remember right on some cars there where 2 remote fuses in that area, one was for the ECM and the other for the MAF. So if it really is the MAF fuse and you have a short in the loop or possiblly a bad or a MAF shorting internally it could cause both the code 33 and the fuse to blow. If it was the ECM fuse blowing I didnt think you would be able to retrieve the codes or even start the car. I believe you can clear codes by pulling the ECM fuse

no.. the fuse only pops

the fuse is run to the ecm , fuel pump maf and oil pressure switch im told.. i currently am replacing the starter so it wont start right now.. i just got dont replacing my fuel pump, i replaced my alternator, tomorrow im replacing the starter.. the car will start and move.. when put under heavier acceleration the fuse will pop.. today i had my ignition coil checked and autozone said it was excellent.. would a malfunctioning maf maybe short out when it is put under more of a load and then cause the fuse to pop... it will sit and idle fine.. when i took it down the road i accelerated slowly and it was ok.. then i slammed on the gas and bam.. the fuse pops.. the car throws the code 33 and that is the current problem.. anyone have any ideas what this could be?

also.. where is the ignition module located anc could this be part of my problem?

thanks
