how do you wire up a second batterie
hey guys i am going to be putting a second batterie in the trunk of my car possibly and i was wondering how you would wire it up.. do you just wire it up paralell... positive to positive and negative to negative or is there somethign else i would have to do.

go to caraudiomag.com or m-emag.com.. they have good tech articles and archives..... parallel batteries only give u more current but they have to be the same batt and type becuase if one goes bad it can greatly affect the other and short it....

there r a few companies that make kits for dual batteries... im going with the dual alternator set up cause its more convient and easy to install and get more juice for all the stuff going into my 85 iroc ( changer, xbox, tv in passenger dash, 3 10 xtant woofers/amps and cooler for the steeler tailgating games!!!! ) i have most of the schematics drawn up on autocad and pcb.... i'll send some 1st stage pics in a few weeks.....
