Uh Huh!! Does it have something like two brown wires and a red wire in a four pin connector with the 4th pin empty and another wire going to a post on the back of the alternator? If so then yes I have a schematic for it.

so... if i don't have my fan fuse in, or another part of my fan system isn't wired properly, that could be why my battery will not charge?

That could definitely have a bearing on it along with that fusible link going to the starter solenoid.

k, it's not the fuse i don't think, do you know where under the hood that fusable link is? i see 3 things coming off the solenoid the LOOK like fusable links, but there not.

OOPS nevermind i found the problem. i put a 25 amp fuse in for my fans cause the parts store didn't have 30amp. so the fuse kept blowing. I never would have thought that the fan fuse would stop my car from charging!! if u know where those fusable links are that would rule too cause i think thats part of the reason i can't get any power to the orange wire on my fan harnesses, THAT problem is about a year old now!

You should have a purple wire going to a small post marked "S" on the side of the starter solenoid. You should also have a large cable going from the battery to the solenoid, on the same post with the battery cable there should be three smaller wires. These are the fusible links that I have mentioned. Two of the fusible links should be connected to the same terminal lug. The fusible link for the alternator is the one with the single wire on the terminal lug. The purple wire I mentioned completes the circuit for starting the car.

If you are putting a 25 - 30 AMP in for the fan you really have a problem. That is only supposed to be a 20 AMP fuse.
