Passenger Headlight Will Not Open
Passenger Headlight Will Not Open
The passenger headlight motor does not open when I turn on the headlights.
Both lights turn on.
If I turn on the headlights and manually crank up the passenger headlight it will stay up, but once I turn off the headlights, both lights will close, meaning I have to manually crank up the passenger light every time it gets dark.
I think it might be a fuse, relay, or switch, but I am not quite sure.
Does anyone have any advice?
BTW, I checked into the TDS repair kit, but apparently it is only for '87 and newer.
My car info :

This is kind of old but I'm having the exact same problem. However, my switch is also broken (I think) so I need to find a replacement for that first.
I'll let you know what happens, though.

Can you hear the motor moving when you turn on the light? On my 88 you could hear the motor working, light on, just would not raise. I got the kit from TDS, fixed problem.
