Its a brand new battery, had the same problem with the old one....What, besides the alternator, could cause it to not charge? Just replaced the cables too! (thought it might fix it, but guess it didnt...)
Before I go replacing the alt., what should i check?

The red wire that runs from the alternator plug has a fusible link down at the starter solenoid. There is also a fusible link in the battery cable that runs from the post on the alternator to the battery. Also check the fan fuse in the fuse block, that is where the tan wire goes. To check the fusible links, just pull on them lightly and if they stretch they are bad.
