Rear hatch wireing diagram request

Like the title says im tryin to find a wireing diagram for the rear hatch motor. i have a chiltons book but either im blind or they suck cause i cant find anything about the rear hatch in there. I bought the car with the hatch not workin but i have used the TDS deluxe rebuild kit(which worked great) and bought a new striker sensor and im about to buy a new reverseing switch and i want to make sure i have the wireing right.

as a side note if anyones hatch motor doesnt work TDS has everything you'll need so check them out.

No wiring diagram exists for the hatch pull-down unit that I'm aware of. Regardless, here's how it is wired; the red/white stripe wire is +12v and connects to the blue wire. The black wire with ring terminal is ground and attaches to the ground location just below the hatch pull-down unit. The reversing switch has a tab that slides into a channel on the clear plastic motor housing. The reversing switch has two connectors that snap onto the terminals on the motor, then it is held in place with a single Phillips-head screw. The striker-sensing switch contains all the wiring for the hatch pull-down unit. The switch attaches adjacent to the latch with a single screw. The white connector of that wiring bundle with blue, white, orange & brown wires plugs into the reversing switch (provides power to the motor through the reversing switch). A relay plugs onto the relay socket. The white wire with small black connector on the end isn't plugged into anything on your car (1986-88). Beginning in either 89 or 90 the white wire plugs into an orange with black stripe wire and powers the hatch interior light. Yours is turned on/off with a manual switch. If your car has a hatch solenoid release, there is a black wire that supplies +12v from the hatch release switch through a relay. Be sure that you have a ground wire running from the 10mm screw (that attaches the hatch release solenoid to the hatch pull-down unit) to the ground location below the hatch pull-down unit. If that wire is missing the solenoid won't fire because it is electrically isolated from ground by the plastic guides in the track.

PS: The contact pad just to the left of the latch and spring-loaded contact pins on hatch have NOTHING to do with the hatch pull-down unit. They power the HMSL (high-mount stop light aka third brake light that is in the spoiler) when the hatch is closed.
