How do i get the buzzer to stop!?!?

Ok heres the thing. Since i put my new 383 engine in the check engine light which I figured, the only thing is now when i drive that buzzing sound stays on all the time from when the check engine light is on. I traced it and heard it coming from underneath the steering column on this "relay fuse" or whatever you want to call it. I took it out and when i did this and turned the ignition over to accessories the buzzing was off, but as soon as i turned the car on the buzzing came back. Now it sounds like its in the module from where i took the relay off. Do you guys know how to stop the buzzing? its bothering the heck out of me. any input i appreciate.

Did you by any chance pull the steering wheel off to do any work there? The area where you said the buzzing is coming from is the convenience center where the audio alarm unit is located.

i didnt pull the steering wheel off or anything. The buzzer was right underneath the panel or where the steering column is. There was just two bolts and the unit just came down and i pulled out that relay.

There is a bolt under the steering colum by the HVAC controls has some grounds on it. If one of those grounds is broken you will get a buzzzzzzzzz even with the alarm thing takein out.

well see i unbolted the board or whatever you want to call it and heard the buzzing coming from the that relay. i then took it off and it stop when i just turned the ignition over to accessories, but when i started it the buzzing continued and now sounded like it was coming from inside that board. i dont know if i have to take that little thing apart and find it from there.
