Yes especially since the car manufacturers like to add splices to wires to run sub systems off of one wire.

cool....there is a short/grounding problem in the headlight/turnsignal/fog light wire harness on my POS. Looks like there was heat damage from a header fire I had years ago. The harness connector (where it plugs into the firewall) was warped and the black tape/wrap that was used around the connector looks like it was melted into the connector....when we pulled it off there was black plasticy goo in it. We ran some tests using a volt meter and found that at least one of the ground wires was getting power from a pwr wire...somwhere....I'm gonna replace the whole harness.....think I sould go with a factory new piece or somthing from painless wiring???

Thanks!! 350Z
