Car battery
I know that this sound`s like a stupid question, but here i norway i can`t figure out how to fasten my car battery. I have a 1986 Z28 305 LG4, without a correct car battery. This means that it`s not properly fasten. I`m going to buy a new battery (the old one is going bad), but the dealer can`t tell me witch battery to buy
Do anyone have a picture of a correct fasten battery in a typical orignial LG4 engine bay? Maybe some metric sizes? Length etc...

Where is north Norway ?
North Norway, that must be in Canada.
No, now I remember, Norway is in Europe.
Yes, Norway is in Scandinavia.
How did a Camaro get into Scandinavia?
I would be happy to help you. What brand (type) of American batteries can your dealer supply?
I do not have a picture of the " rubber wedge" that is used to hold down the battery. But I will try to help.
When you say "dealer", do you mean "Chevy Dealer"?
How long have you owned your car? Did you buy it in Norway?

Thanks, but "problem" solved.
I bougth a ordinary car battery, and made my own hold down system. The problem was that the batteries I found was to big, compared to the original z28 battery. I also changed the battery cable clamps. Camaro original used other battery cable clamps.
Here in Norway, we have a few american cars. Not so many people in norway drive older american cars.
I used to have a black trans am 1980, with the 6,6l. Nice car, but hard to get parts and help/tips.
Now i`m driving a z28, and lives far up north in norway. Not many chevy dealers around here....
Rigth now we have alot of snow, no sun and it`s cold....but the z28, now with a new battery, drives fine around in the snow. quite fun to drive, with posi-drive!
