unidentified light under the dash
There is a light (well i think its a light) under the dash. It has a yellow lens and is on the underside of the flat part of the dash above the ac control part. Weird i have no idea what it could be. Its not an alarm lght because i have the typical red led. Only thing i can think of is that it is from a factory alarm that was possibly swaped out for the current viper system?? Oh yeah ive never seen it lit up just looks to be a plastic lens of some sort...

Yeah, that's just a regular...light. I have one in my car. I think it comes on when you turn on the headlights, but mine is very dim/useless.

Think that's for the ash tray. Pretty worthless for sure with that little bulb up in there. You can see how it's set up with dash cover off.

It's purpose is to provide a LITTLE light at night so you can see the radio controls if they are not lit up.....Of course if you have a new head unit in there, the LEDs from it glow so bright it overpowers that little bitty light....

Whoo! useless lights! Maybe if you put a better bulb in there and made a new lens, then you might get some actual light from it...
