I have had my battery tested and they said it was good and has long life, and I took my alternator had it tested they said it was good but they gave me a new one anyways. I put it back in drove for awhile and the battery guage started dropping then the lights dimmed, the cd player went off guages stopped working and the car died. The battery dosn't die when car is parked only when I am moving. I need help on what I should look at or replace etc. I am a painter not a very good mechanic and need help. Thanks.

 

did you cheak the wires going into the alt make sure they are not frayed and have a good conection the wire might be beer at a point and when you are driveing it could be grounding out so you want to cheak for that also. hope this helps

 

Also check for loose ground stratps to the body and block.
